Trick or Treating will be on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5:30pm until 8:00pm this year.
The City is phasing out the "Red Tag" door notices. October will be the final month for red tags. The Shut-off Notices will state "This will be your only Notice" as a reminder to pay your water bill before the City shuts it off. If you have any questions, please contact City Hall at 269-792-2265.

Starting May 1, 2016, the City of Wayland will have the ability to distribute Dog Licenses to our residents. In order to receive a dog license from the City please provide your dogs Proof of Rabies Shot records. We accept credit cards, cash, or check. You can also purchase them at your Veterinary's office or on-line at http://cms.allegancounty.org/sites/Office/Treasurer/SitePages/Dogs

The City of Wayland is located off of U.S. 131 at exit 64 in the northeastern corner of Allegan County, Michigan. This growing community is approximately 30 minutes south of the City of Grand Rapids, 40 Minutes north of the City of Kalamazoo and 45 minutes east of Lake Michigan.
Wayland was established in 1868 and was largely a farming and lumber community. Approximately 4079 people currently reside in the City of Wayland.
